On Sept. 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk had an Event scheduled at Utah Valley University for his organization known as Turning Point USA. This event was part of his comeback tour and was supposed to be used to give students the opportunity to be able to debate with him on current issues. His event was scheduled for noon that day. At 12:23 pm, a shot was fired 200 feet away from where Kirk was speaking. The shot had struck him in the neck, and he was pronounced dead at 1:40 pm. He was 31 years old.
On Sept. 21, 2025, over 95,000 people filled the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona to celebrate the life of Charlie Kirk. This event was held by our president, Donald Trump and other leading political figures such as: Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, Lara Trump, J.D. Vance, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Marco Rubio and Lauren Boebert. There were also several other members of the Trump Administration present at his service. Along with all of these political figures there were also some musical performers there such as: Brandon Lake, Chris Tomlin and Phil Wickham, who are all Christian music performers that performed during the service and helped to lead worship during the service.
Every guest speaker that attended the memorial service gave a speech about Charlie and the impact he had on them. This memorial was more like a celebration of Charlie’s life, rather than a funeral. The musical performers were there to play some music and even held a church service there. It was something that was needed to help lift the sadness of the incident.
Charlie’s death has made such a huge impact on humanity in my opinion. While he may be gone, his message only grows stronger. His death has sparked a revival in the United States and people are starting to take stand for what they believe in again. Erika Kirk, Charlie’s wife, has decided to take over as CEO for Turning Point USA to continue her husband’s legacy. While Charlie may be gone, he will never be forgotten.
