Daylight savings, more like daylight losings

Jess Oakley, Reporter

Every year we do this dance where we decide if our state is doing daylight savings and every year the answer is yes, but it sucks because you have to turn the clocks forward and then turn them back. It is so confusing.

Then in the spring, we set the clock forward one hour. Why? I just don’t get it at all. In the fall we put the clock back an hour. To like reset it, but now the sun is setting at like 4 p.m. I haven’t even had dinner yet and the sun is setting.

I just do not understand it at all, and it makes me upset because people try to explain it to me and I read articles about it, but I still don’t really understand.

It also upsets me that not all of the world does it like? Why are we taking our clocks out of sync with the rest of the world? It just gives me a headache and makes me make weird memes so I think we should stop.
