The newly released movie, “Blue’s Big City Adventure,” features Blue and her new friend, Josh, on their way to audition for a Broadway musical in New York City. It has been available to stream on Paramount Plus as of Nov. 18. In case you haven’t watched the movie yet, be warned there may be some spoilers ahead.

The movie starts off in the well-known house that was featured in “Blue’s Clues”. Josh and Blue are shown preparing to go to New York City for an audition. Once they arrive, Josh realizes he forgot his handy-dandy notebook so he has to look for clues to find his way to the theater. Thankfully, Mr. Salt follows them with the notebook and finds their old friends Steve and Joe. Together they try to track down Josh and Blue to get them to the audition on time. Along with Steve and Joe, many other recognizable characters from the original series make an appearance, such as Tickety Tock, Slippery Soap and Mailbox.

Most children that will watch this movie may not have seen the original series (“Blue’s Clues”), which ran on Nickelodeon from 1996 to 2006. However, they may have seen its revival, “Blue’s Clues and You” (2019). That being said, the new movie could hold some nostalgia for those who grew up watching the original series and are likely in college or have children of their own now. For everyone young or old, “Blue’s Big City Adventure” on Paramount Plus will bring out their inner dreamer.
