Meet the 22-23 Navigator team!

The Navigator News is back in business! The 2022-2023 staff is excited to start this year with new members and ideas.
Audra Gullquist is this year’s Editor-in-Chief. Audra is a sophomore at Lake Land College and is majoring in Speech Pathology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, painting, napping and watching BoJack Horseman. She channeled her artsy side as the Layout and Design Editor for the Navigator during the 2021-2022 school year but is now running the show.
Maia Voegel, our creative Layout and Design Editor, is a sophomore at Lake Land College this year and is a Psychology Major with a focus on Education. Maia joined the Navigator team last year as a reporter, but you can now find the newspapers she designs all around campus. In her free time, she loves to hang out with her mom and friends, read romance novels and watch Netflix. She loves to write fiction, draw and watch Marvel movies. Loki and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man are some of her favorite heroes. She also loves to get lost in a good book.
Trinity Turner, our copy editor, is a sophomore at Lakeland this year and is an English Major. Trinity also joined the team last year as a reporter. When free, she loves hanging with her friends and family or sitting back and watching dirt racing. She also enjoys reading, writing and coloring cool pictures.
Darrius Frazier, our returning archivist, is a long-time student at Lake Land College and is majoring in Information Technology. In his free time, he enjoys browsing the Internet, weightlifting, working out at the gym, watching television, spending time outdoors and hanging out with family and friends.
Bailey Farris, our new reporter, is a freshman at Lake Land College and is majoring in English. In her free time, she enjoys reading, sewing and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys connecting with nature and just being in the great outdoors.
Paul Dorman, our new reporter, is a sophomore at Lake Land College and is majoring in an undecided field of Engineering Science. He also serves as the Student Government Vice President for the academic year and enjoys undertaking a range of technical hobbies in his free time. He plans on attending UIUC after graduating LLC.
Molly Smith, our new reporter, is a freshman at Lake Land College and is majoring in English. Molly works in the Admissions and Tutoring center on campus when not in class. In her free time, she likes to read, listen to music, watch shows and hang out with friends and her mom.
Adam Alexander, our new reporter, is a Sophomore at Lake Land College pursuing a Social Science Education degree. He also works on campus in the Social Science and Education department as a work study. In his limited free time, he enjoys community theater, playing video games and playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends.
