Lake Land’s Workforce Development Center, previously located at the old Wal-Mart facility at 305 Richmond Ave. East for the last 20 years, has been relocated to be back on campus. The new on campus Workforce Development Center is located next to the West Building. With 18,200 sq. ft., the Board of Trustees approved a $12.5 million bond issue to develop the new facility. The Workforce Development Center’s services include Adult Education courses, Center for Business and Industry, community and professional programs, GED classes and testing, traffic safety courses and Lake Land’s Commercial Truck Driving Training, A.K.A. CDL Training.
