The long-awaited season premiere of “Wednesday” season two is finally here. This season is to be released in two parts. The first half of this season was released on Aug. 6, 2025, while the second half is to be released on Sept. 3, 2025. “Wednesday” is currently sitting at number two in Netflix’s Top Ten Shows in the U.S. Today.
“Wednesday” season one kicks off with Wednesday Addams played by Jenna Ortega being transferred to Nevermore Academy. This is due to her previous school expelling her for setting piranhas loose on some students who were bullying her brother, Pugsley Addams. When Wednesday finally arrives at Nevermore Academy she is introduced to her new roommate Enid, a werewolf. Later, Wednesday starts seeing visions of things that will happen soon, and this is because she has psychic abilities. She then uses this newly discovered power and the help of her friends to dive deep into the mysteries of the town Jericho, which will lead them all on a chilling adventure.
Jenna Ortega has made her glorious return as Wednesday Addams in season 2. Viewers this season were introduced to some new characters. Fans have been introduced to Pugsley Addams played by Isaac Ordonez, Grandmama Hester Frump played by Joanna Lumley, Agnes played by Evie Templeton and so many more.
The show is well-structured and easy to follow along with. The pacing is not slow during this season. It is just the right pace so the plot can properly build up and leave the viewer wanting to watch more. “Wednesday” is a great show to watch if you love shows revolving around solving mysteries and horror. Also, if you are a Tim Burton fan, then this show is the one for you! This season will have you on the edge of your seat.
This season has been a great watch, and three big mysteries have been circulating throughout the entirety of it. What will happen with Wednesday’s psychic powers? What is the situation among the Outcasts of Nevermore Academy? Lastly, which character will meet a terrible fate, and can they prevent it?
The ending of this portion of the season left off on a cliffhanger as expected. The rest of the season is sure to be eventful and full of mysteries. What will the outcome be for Wednesday and her friends? What will happen with the Outcasts? And more importantly, who is behind all of this?
