Breaking news: The Student Government Association election results are in—proving once again that while they may call themselves ‘government,’ some of them actually know how to party (but shhh… not all of them). Congratulations to the 9 Sophomore Delegates and 1 Student Trustee who made the cut! Here’s what you should know about them after we hit them with a few questions.
Kailyn Tracy
Sophomore Delegate… I joined SGA to make a difference and help students’ voices be heard. I am also a Copy Editor for the Navigator News. I have this superpower where I can pinpoint songs based on their appearance in the movie “Sing”.
Jasmine Gast
Sophomore Delegate… I joined SGA to find a sense of purpose at Lake Land in hopes to meet new friends and have a better understanding of the school I attend. I’ve enjoyed feeling a part of something bigger than just academics.” I am super double jointed in my arms and can get out of handcuffs. My cat Willow is obsessed with straws. Weird right? Out of all things.
Megan Elizabeth Mollett
Sophomore Delegate… I joined SGA because one of my sophomore friends was a member and she said they needed more people to join. I also wanted to get more involved in the school and different clubs so when there was an opening, I went for it. Some fun facts about me are that I am an agricultural student, and I show cattle in my free time. {I like the honesty}
Rylee Robb
Sophomore Delegate… I joined SGA because it’s a great group of students to work with to benefit the student body at Lake Land! Fun fact about me is I show livestock, and I raise and show pigs!
Allison Meese
Sophomore Delegate… I joined SGA to be able to serve my fellow Lake Land students. The picture is from my recent mission trip to Nicaragua with my friends Anthony and Solomon!
Nate Carlin
Sophomore Delegate… I ran for third time because I have enjoyed my time on board. It has been truly an honor to serve on the Student Government. One last ride. I have held leadership positions since middle school. I sometimes listen to Taylor Swift {Sometimes is a lie…more like every second of the day}
Abigail Warman
Sophomore Delegate… I joined SGA to make an impact on the students at Lake Land College. Fun Fact- I am the 2024 Miss Broomcorn
Jay Bliler
Student Trustee… I enjoy helping my fellow students and representing their interests to the Board of Trustees as well as to the Student Government. I like Presidential History and can play the piano.
