The dispute between well-known actor Blake Lively and her co-star, Justin Baldoni, also the director of It Ends with Us, is leading role of Lily Bloom.
During the filming process, Lively started modifying her contract and overruling Baldoni and his script. She completely changed the wardrobe of the film and was hard to have a good relationship with, according to the rest of the cast. Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds were trying to undermine Baldoni by excluding him from the premiere, spreading negative rumors within his agency and isolating him from cast events and promotions.
Following the film’s release, there were rumors that Baldoni had sexually assaulted Lively while the film was being produced. During the press tour, the two co-stars would avoid each other and did not say a word. This was when people started to get curious about what was going on between the two individuals. She told the press that the kissing scenes were longer than they were in the script and made her uncomfortable.
Lively claimed that he also violated her privacy by “entering her makeup trailer uninvited while she had to sign a contract about being undressed” and that he pressured her to lose weight for four months following childbirth. This was the first allegation in the case.
As stated by Lively, she filed a formal lawsuit against Baldoni in federal court in New York on December 31 for sexual harassment and workplace safety issues. Based on Lively’s claims, Baldoni filed a $250 million libel lawsuit against the New York Times. Baldoni denied the allegations and sued Lively and Reynolds, for $400 million. She countered this by accusing them of defamation and civil extortion on January 16, 2025.
When the lawsuit against Baldoni goes to trial next year, on March 9, 2026, the two of them will be up against one another in court. Since the trial is a full year away, it is difficult to predict what will unfold. No one will know the truth until March 9, 2026; no one will know the truth until March 9, 2026, no one will know the truth until March 9, 2026, no one will know the truth until March 9, 2026, although there are many open opinions and discussions about who was right and who was wrong.
