Tim Stolz, advisor for The Navigator news and student life specialist; has a Thanksgiving tradition of getting together with his family and having a big meal together which fosters connection in the family. 

Aisha Salami, reporter and Layout & design editor; has not celebrated Thanksgiving before and recently just learnt about it in 2023. She plans to spend time over Thanksgiving by catching up on all the hustle bustle of college. If there is time, watch a few TikTok videos and catch up on her anime watchlist.  

Emma Skowronski, reporter for The Navigator, celebrates Thanksgiving together with her birthday because her birthday usually ends up being in the week before Thanksgiving. Her family usually play games at her grandparents’ house! It is always nice to get together with everyone since they do not get to see each other very often. She goes to her significant other’s family for Thanksgiving too.  

Tanatswa Mutamira, Social Media Manager; does not have a tradition. She plans to pray and journal down things that she is grateful for that has happened this calendar year.  

Kailyn Tracy, Reporter, On Thanksgiving, her family enjoys breaking the wishbone once the turkey is finished. It is an exciting tradition for the younger members, as whoever gets the bigger piece is granted the chance to make a wish!
