As Thomas Moll, Lake Land College’s last Coordinator of Mental Health Services, embarks on this new chapter in his life, Lake Land celebrates his achievements and the legacy he leaves behind. We are confident that his future endeavors will be met with the same success and fulfillment that he has experienced here. While we will miss his daily presence, we take comfort in knowing that the impact he has made will continue to resonate within our school.
“I’ve only known Tom a short time since I’ve only been in this position for a few months and in that time, he’s been a big help in getting to know the students and getting to know how things work in student life. He’s been a fun guy and just always upbeat and always fun to be around and a pleasure to get to know.” said Tim Stolz, Student Life Specialist.
“Tom provided a unique service to our students that is going to be sorely missed until we can find someone to take his place. He has been there for our students when they were stressed and overwhelmed, when they needed guidance. He’s given them a sense of security and safety that’s not quite achievable without someone with his skills. He has meant a lot to the students here and we would miss him sorely.” said Wally Rubin, Student Wellness Specialist.
“It is sad to see Tom go, and he made a good impact on students, he is going to be missed.” said Ally Perkins, Student and Tutoring Center Office Assistant.
“There are a lot of students that are going to miss him and I’m really happy that he’s got new horizons he’s going to. We definitely will miss him here and there’s lots of students that he helped, and he made an impact on us.” said Talianna Rubin, Student and Tutor at Lake Land Tutoring Center.
“I am very glad that I got to know Tom as a person. I think that he is a wonderful human being and anywhere that he would go is lucky to have him and Sarah Bush is of course lucky to have him. I definitely hope we’ll keep in touch and he’ll come back and see us. We can all go to lunch or have fun and I wish him all the best in all in his future endeavors.” said Mercury Bowen, Coordinator for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.
“Tom has been such an incredible asset for the College, in the past the onsite mental health services were limited and so as we’re moving forward, we certainly hope to be able to continue to have those services with the new person. Although Tom will be sorely missed, we are hopeful for the future.” Said Kim Hunter, Director of Success Services.
All these are what people think about when reminded of his transitioning and what they have to say about Thomas. We are grateful for his timeless efforts, boundless enthusiasm and unwavering support.
