Hello, I was one of your reporters for this last year’s issue. This year, I got to cover some of the most fun and stupid but also serious and controversial topics, all of which I enjoyed writing.
I am an art student here at Lake Land. I enjoy photography, graphic design and drawing. I have always loved working with computers and saw the chance to type endlessly about my thoughts and took it as a sign. All jokes aside, after leaving here, I plan on moving to another state, where I will work and further pursue my education in graphic design. In my freetime, I like to design tattoos, costumes and do private commission work on logos for companies or groups.
My favorite article to cover this semester was actually my most recent batch, specifically “Quiet on Set”. I, like many children, watched these shows and idolized those actors and actresses, so much so I once wanted to be like them and act as well. Growing up with them, we start to see the dark side of what they actually lived through and it makes a person think. Overall, it was a really emotional piece.
I’ll be crossing that graduation stage this year. Once again, thank you Lake Land for having me as one of your reporters.
Goodbye, for now.
