Lake Land College is dedicated to providing quality education at an affordable cost, ensuring that students have access to opportunities for success. As the college prepares for the upcoming fiscal year 2025 budget, efforts are underway to maintain the value of a Lake Land College education while balancing financial considerations.
The tuition adjustments for the upcoming semester have been announced. Students enrolled in the in-district program will see an increase of $3.00 per credit hour, with the new tuition fee being $113.50 per credit hour, up from $110.50. Similarly, out-of-district tuition fees will increase, going up from $237.96 to $244.41 per credit hour. For out-of-state students, the tuition fee will change from $431.36 to $443.05 per credit hour.
Despite the adjustments, Lake Land College tuition rates will remain notably below the statewide average for both in-district and out-of-district levels, ensuring affordability compared to other colleges.
The additional fee increases include Activity Fee increasing to $4.00 per credit hour (from $2.50), while the Service and Recreation Fee is unchanged at $29.67 per credit hour and the Dual Credit Fee remains constant at $18.42 per credit hour.
These adjustments are part of the college’s ongoing efforts to sustain its commitment to delivering excellent education while managing budgetary needs. Lake Land College recognises the importance of providing students with access to resources and support to aid in their academic journey.
