It’s no surprise that rapper, Kanye West, is up to no good again. In Jan, West was charged with battery against a woman for throwing her phone on the ground after he caught her filming him without his permission. This is after many other incidents that have happened periodically since his 2020 presidential run. 

My beef with Kanye started all the way back in 2008 when he jumped on the stage at the MTV awards and interrupted Taylor Swift after she won music video of the year for her song, “Love Story.” This resulted in a contentious relationship between Swift and West for years following that was really only fueled by West. All of this resulted in a cancel campaign in early 2016 against Swift. Kim Kardashian, West’s wife at the time, took to social media to post a video of a conversation between Swift and West. This resulted in more hate towards Swift on Twitter. Swift’s reaction towards the whole ordeal was to go silent on social media for two years. 

West just has continued to degrade himself in the social eye, after his contentious relationship with Kardashian, his 2020 election campaign and now this. He is just in a continuous battle with the law, social media and the public in general and his continuity within the battle with the law and society. Kanye West exists when he shouldn’t be and is always continuously seeking attention and doing things that get him that desired attention. If you can’t tell, I really dislike Kanye West and am not surprised by this mishap with the law, nor with him getting off on it, AGAIN.
