The Student Activity Board (SAB) held a “Club or Treat” event on Oct 26 at Laker Point. The event was full of attendees and Halloween spirit.

Many tables were lined up at Laker Point, all of which were occupied by various Lake Land College (LLC) clubs. The clubs handed out candy, baked goods, merch and numerous other goodies. 

A costume contest was also held at the event. Many attendees signed up for the event to show off their creative costumes. A panel of judges that consisted of SAB members was also present. The judges broke the winners into four categories. 

The winners of the first category, overall honorable mention, were Michelle Doty, who was dressed as a Fox, and Nicki Amigoni, who was dressed as an Alien Abduction. The second category was originality/creativity. The winners in this category were Maia Voegel as Wanda/Scarlet Witch and Emily Howen as Dark Horse. Presentation/enthusiasm of participants was awarded to Austin Van Hise as Elven Ranger and Stephanie Sample as the Ghost of Homework Past. 

The last category, overall winners, was awarded to Kai Starrett as Winnie the Pooh and Viv Ard as Big Barbie. Every winner received a $25 gift card to LLC’s bookstore.
