Hagrid’s a death eater theory is false

On Aug. 5 a Reddit user, Zach Hansen, uploaded a controversial Harry Potter theory proposing the idea that Hagrid is secretly a high-ranking death eater in a 9,653 word essay. Despite giving lots of examples about why Hansen believes this theory is true, I do not because Hansen’s strongest pieces of evidence can easily be disproven. Now Hansen explains that he only based this theory on the seven Harry Potter books and nothing from other material such as Pottermore, video games or anything J. K. Rowling has said online or in interviews, so neither will I while arguing against this theory.
Most of Hansen’s evidence comes from the first book, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and the seventh book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” and most of Hansen’s evidence from the first book can be disproven the easiest. Some of Hansen’s evidence from the first book is about how Hagrid broke multiple laws with Azkaban-level offences and how it was never explained how Hagrid magically traveled to the hut on the island that the Dursley’s and Harry were hiding at. Hansen explains this means Hagrid is a death eater because he breaks Azkaban-level offences and uses unknown and possibly dark magic. Both of these can be disproven because since it was the first book of the Harry Potter Series, author J. K. Rowling had not completely decided how the wizarding world worked and what the different spells and magical laws were when writing “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
Hansen’s evidence from “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” I will be disproving next takes place during the end of the Battle of Hogwarts. Hansen’s evidence from the battle is about how we do not see Hagrid physically fight against other death eaters until the end of the battle when it is clear that Voldemort is losing. Hansen explains Hagrid must be death eater because if he was not, we would have seen him fight against death eaters before they were clearing losing. This can also be easily disproved because we also never saw Mrs. Weasley and other characters from the books ever fight a death eater until the end of the battle, and we are not writing fan theories about them secretly being death eaters along with Hagrid.
Anyone who has read the Harry Potter books as much as I have, could tell you that Hagrid being a death eater is not possible because with Hagrid’s caring personality he could never had been a death eater.
