The Boston Red Sox are the 2018 American League champions, after defeating the defending world champions, the Houston Astros. They are headed to their 13th World Series so will this be the unlucky number or their ticket to victory?

After defeating them, Boston ended the hopes of the Astros and any chance of their winning back to back world series. After having the best record in the MLB this year at 108 wins with the New York Yankees following them closely at 100 wins. Red Sox are the favorites going into the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers are trying to win their 7th World Series. Meanwhile, the Dodgers are the underdogs going into the seven game series, the Dodgers do seem to have much better pitching. This is lead by their number 1 pitcher Clayton Kershaw, but its that time of the year where it is the best of the best where Mr. October emerges. This is the World Series and everything can change on one swing of the bat or the pitch of a ball and records really don’t matter, welcome to the World Series.
