Girls Volleyball: Back and ready to attack

Laker volleyball is coming out strong in their first game of the season against the Rend Lake Warriors. In the first set, the Lake Land volleyball girls show Rend Lake whose house they’re in with a score of 25-17. Fighting back, Rend Lake takes the lead and the Lakers can’t quite hold on, losing the second set 19-25. During the third set, Lake Land takes back the lead and dominates with a final score of 25-12. Neck and neck during the fourth set, the Warriors win 23-25. Leading into the fifth and final set, it was a nail-biter. In an intense game to 15, the Lakers pull ahead and never turned back. With a final score of 15-8 Lake Land takes the victory with a final match score of 3-2. The Lady Laker’s first game and all upcoming games will be held in the Field House at Lake Land College. Be sure to come out and support the Laker volleyball girls during their upcoming season.
